Vesna is a London based artist and a potter, making handmade ceramics for everyday rituals. By education she is an Arts Professor and a Graphics designer, having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Slovenia. With almost a decade of experience in production ceramics for some well-established ceramicists, she is now shaping her own vision of tactile clay poetry to help elevate the seemingly mundane into heartfelt daily pleasures. Her work moves between playfully elegant wheel-thrown pieces and geometric handbuilt functional objects flavoured with a rustic touch. Vesna is also passionately involved in teaching ceramics, passing on the appreciation for the material and the process and helping people re-connect with their creativity. She strives to create a fun and engaging learning environment where everyone can fall in love with clay at their own pace.
